Tibetans in India
From 2003-2005, we worked with an organization of Tibetans in exile to develop a culturally specific model for conflict transformation that builds on traditional beliefs. We trained new trainers to apply these concepts both within the refugee community and in external conflicts.
Between 2003-2005 Karuna Center developed the Project with Tibetans-in-Exile: Leadership Training in Conflict Transformation in partnership with the Tibetan Centre for Conflict Resolution (TCCR), an NGO in Dharamsala, India, endorsed by the Tibetan Government in Exile. The goal was to develop skills to address issues both within the Tibetan refugee community and with their Indian neighbors.
