Karuna Center has been worked to promote women’s full participation in community consultations with oil and gas companies by providing women and girls with training on how to actively participate in existing community bodies and directly engage with oil companies to advocate for their interests, needs, and share of the benefits as they related to the development of hydrocarbons in areas that affect their communities.
